Radiators

The corrosion of the thin metal fins of a radiator (heat exchanger) can be attributed to all kinds of elements. Urea, fertilizer, salt, acidic gases, caustic elements and a whole host of other corrosive elements cling to the surface, absorb moisture and corrode the surface. The result can be a shortened service life and inordinate amounts of downtime.

Nyalic is a thin-film radiator coating for corrosion protection and does not trap impurities in the coating or on the surface. Contaminants allowed to accumulate on an untreated surface can cause intensified corrosion problems. While corrosive elements can accumulate on a Nyalic-coated surface, they are easily washed off of the surface. And corrosive elements do not creep under Nyalic's radiator clear coat.

The smooth finish of a Nyalic surface helps to maximize airflow and reduces clogging. There is no loss of heat transfer characteristics on a Nyalic-coated radiator. Nyalic's coating for corrosion protection is applied to all types of industrial radiators, both copper and aluminum.
